Perform Accurate and Reliable Dose Measurements
Model 007TE

Now more than ever accurate CT dose measurements are critical to the practice of medical imaging.

The CIRS Tissue Equivalent CT Dose Phantoms more accurately simulate the patient's anatomy with tissue mimicking material that faithfully mimic the X-ray absorption and scatter properties of soft tissue and water within 1% in the diagnostic energy range.

Anthropomorphically shaped head, thorax and abdominal sections of varying sizes, infant to large adults, are available. Each section contains relevant vertebral, lung and cranial anatomy.  Five through holes accommodate standard CT dose probes.

Evaluate CT Performance in Anthropomorphic Phantoms
Model 700-QA

More sophisticated CT protocols and continuing equipment improvement require the use of an anthropomorphic phantom of different sizes and/or ages to investigate the correlation between image quality and CT doses.

The CT Imaging QA Kit provides targets for evaluation of two important CT performance parameters: low contrast detectability and spatial resolution in soft tissues and lung regions.

Designed for use in the ATOM family of dosimetry phantoms and the Model 007-TE CIRS Tissue Equivalent CT Dose Phantoms.

The Standard for CTDI Measurements

Model 007 & 007A

The FDA performance standard for diagnostic X-ray systems, which includes CT systems, describes the use of solid PMMA disks for measuring CT dose index.

The CIRS Model 007 and 007A comply with 21CFR1020.33.  Each phantom consists of 15 cm thick PMMA disks. The 007 includes 2 disks representing an adult head (16 cm diameter) and adult body (32 cm diameter). The 007A includes a third disk representing a pediatric head (10 cm diameter). Through holes will fit standard CT probes and included acrylic rods will accommodate TLDs.
