PermeGear Twin-Flow Conversion System

PermeGear's Twin-Flow Conversion System is an assembly of black anodized aluminum components designed to hold two In-Line Cells over the stirring magnets in one station of a PermeGear H-Series Stirrer or Crown Glass Side-Bi-Side Drive Console. The Conversion System is ported for connection to a heater/recirculator and provides the opportunity to use the precision flow type In-Line Cells on a stirrer which the user already has. By connecting the cells to a peristaltic pump, the user can easily set up an infinite sink situation and compare the different characteristics of flow and static cells, with or without stirring, etc. If the researcher has an ILC14 Automated System, the effect of stirring can be easily determined. The cells are encapsulated within the Cell Warmers and the Conversion Systems the same way, and using the same water bath and peristaltic pump as are in the ILC14 Automated System, the output from the cells can be analyzed and compared.
